Reading the Hands For Compatibility

A knowledge of palmistry may cause you to notice your prospective mate’s hands before anything else! Will life ever be the same again?

Unlikely, because once you discover how accurate and useful palmistry can be, you will find yourself just itching to see into your prospective mate’s hands. You can’t help yourself!  Looking into this person’s hands  becomes as important as noting the colour of their eyes or the way they smile.  You find yourself wanting to know as much about this person as possible, and palmistry is an excellent way of achieving this.

Someone once asked me “If I learn all about my new partner from his or her hands, won’t that take away the best part of our relationship – the part that involves getting to know each other in the early days?”  This is a good point, but the answer is no, it won’t!  It won’t take away any of the excitement found from that early discovery.  In fact, what it will do is either make you look forward to learning about this person even more, or it may alert you to take a little care before you proceed with the relationship.

Whenever I meet someone who hides their hands from me the minute they discover that I read hands, a warning light immediately flashes in my mind.  Is this person a particularly private individual, or is it possible they might they be trying to hide something from me?  And if so, what are they trying to hide and why?  Sometimes any reluctance to display the hands will be accompanied with the words “I don’t believe in hand reading!”  And it occasionally crosses my mind that if a person doesn’t believe in hand reading, why should there be any desire to hide their hands from view? However, even when someone has no knowledge of hand reading, the very act of opening up the palms of the hands can create a certain instinctive sense of vulnerability.  And there can be few people who feel sufficiently at one with themselves to remain unaware of just a few weaknesses in their personality.  It would seem sense to assume that most of us are likely to have some aspect of our personality that we might just prefer to keep out of public view, whether that be severe mood swings, intense jealousy, sudden anger, stubbornness, a love of gambling, lack of generosity, a lack of will power, or whatever.

But the discovery of compatibility through hand reading is not merely restricted to our intimate relationships.  A greater understanding and awareness of our children, parents, friends, our work colleagues  and those we come into contact with on a daily basis, can only improve our relationships.  An awareness of how your bank manager’s mind works can be extremely helpful when approaching him for a much needed overdraft.  If he has long fingers with square shaped tips, which many bank managers have, then he will not be impressed by your idealistic notions of how you are going to pay the money back.  His detailed mind is looking for facts and figures.  If you have ever found yourself facing a salesman, intent on getting you to part with your cash, take a quick look at his little fingers.  If they are very curved, this salesman is reading you like a book, and is ahead of you every step of the way!

When determining compatibility from the hands, it is not so much a question of looking for good signs or bad signs, (after all, one man’s meat is another man’s poison) but more a question of looking for those aspects of a person that you feel comfortable with on a personal level.

Some instant questions that might form in my own mind when I look into my partner’s hands are:

  • Are our lives heading in a similar direction?

  • Do we have similar energy levels?

  • Are there any interests we can share?

  • Will we understand each other, or are we likely to approach life from entirely different perspectives?

  • Who is likely to lead the relationship?

  • Do we have similar values and expectations of life?

  • Are there any aspects of this person that I might find difficult to live with?

  • Are there any aspects of this person that might help me to grow?
